Who is responsible for your data

What I process and why

• Contact form and email: when you write to me, I receive your name, email address and message. I use them only to reply and to arrange an intro call or session. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, or my legitimate interest in answering your question (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
• Technical logs: when you visit the site, the server automatically records your IP address, the time, the page you visited and your browser type, so the site stays secure and reliable (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• The site uses no cookies, analytics or tracking, and loads nothing from other providers.

Please leave out health details

Please don't include details about your health in the form. We can talk about them in a session.

Who else processes the data

• Resend (USA) delivers form messages to my inbox. Sending happens in the EU (Ireland).
• Railway (USA) hosts the website on servers in the EU (the Netherlands). It may also keep technical logs in the USA.
• Google Workspace (Google) hosts my email.

I have a data processing agreement with each of them. Where data is transferred to the USA, it is protected by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. I never sell your data or use it for advertising.

How long I keep it

I keep messages for up to 12 months after our last contact, unless you become a client. In that case I keep them while we work together, and invoices for 10 years, as the law requires. Resend keeps a copy of form messages for up to 30 days, and Railway keeps technical logs for up to 90 days.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive a copy of it. Email me at irena@irenarupnik.com.

If you think I handle your data unlawfully, you can complain to the Information Commissioner of the Republic of Slovenia, Dunajska cesta 22, 1000 Ljubljana, www.ip-rs.si.

Giving me your data is voluntary. Without it, I can't reply to you.
